Donna McGowan

Donna McGowan is the Director of the British Council in Viet Nam.  With more than 20 years’ experience of British Council’s work internationally in East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub Saharan Africa and Latin America, Donna has led diverse teams, designed and implemented a variety of programmes and projects with partners and stakeholders, and grown British Council operations. 

Her various roles have helped strengthen relationships with public, private and voluntary organisations and institutions across the British Council’s portfolio in arts and culture, education and English language. 

Donna has a degree in French and Politics, a Master’s in European Politics and Policy and a professional diploma in Marketing.
